The Amasya Passport
When you arrive in front of a stop, that stop's seal is stamped in your passport. Collect all the seals of a route and the route's certificate (berât) opens.

Where have you been?
Where are you now?
Let us take your location, and the stops near you will be listed. You can stamp the seal of any stop you come within a hundred and fifty metres of.
Your certificates
The routes you have completed. To print them or save them as a PDF, use the Print button.
Seals
Some stops lie on two routes at once. They appear under both routes; a seal you stamp once fills in on both.
Good to know
Your passport stays only on this device. The seals are written to your
browser's own storage; they are not sent anywhere, and we cannot see them.
If you clear your browser data or open the site on another phone, the passport
starts empty.
Your location is not sent anywhere either. It is used only inside the
browser, to work out your distance from a stop.
Some stops have provisional coordinates. Of the
— monuments we have, the location of
— has been verified against an OpenStreetMap record;
the remaining — were estimated from the book's
descriptions of where they are and may be off by one or two hundred metres.
For stops with a provisional location we have widened the stamping distance
to 500 metres, and marked them “provisional location”
in the list. As they are verified, this margin will narrow.
The seal and certificate ornament is an original drawing. It is not a
historical sultan's tuğra or a real archival document; it was drawn for
this site, inspired by Anatolian geometric ornament.
